Timing
How long each stage takes
For peak-season dates, start 6 to 12 months ahead, especially if you want specific dates or a specific stay.

Payment
Deposit and balance
A 30% deposit confirms the booking. The remaining 70% is due 60 days before arrival; if you book within 60 days of travel, the full amount is paid at confirmation.
Private boat charters and island buyouts may need a higher deposit or earlier payment; this is stated while the itinerary is planned. Prices are nett and quoted in USD for international travellers.

Cancellation
Cancellation and changes
Travel insurance and entrance fees are included in our trips.

| Cancellation by the participant | Deposit paid is forfeited (non-refundable). Trip dates cannot be moved or changed under this scenario, but the participant may find a replacement person (name change allowed) |
| Force Majeure (natural disasters, bad weather, riots, disease outbreaks, government regulations, or other compelling circumstances beyond human control) | The trip may be changed or cancelled. No refunds are given for facilities not used; all resulting losses or inconvenience are not the responsibility of the organizer |
| Late arrival at the meeting point | If a participant's late arrival delays the itinerary and inconveniences other participants, that participant is deemed to have withdrawn. No refund of payment is given |
Changes must be sent in writing and depend on availability; a change fee may apply. Changes within 60 days of arrival may be treated as a cancellation and rebooking. In force majeure we offer a new date, a travel credit or a partial refund.

Published Indonesia Juara rates, nett. On arrival you are met at Kalimarau Airport (BEJ) in Berau and taken to Derawan.
Flights to Berau (BEJ) are not included.
