The reliable route runs through Berau, not through Maratua’s own airstrip. You fly into Kalimarau Airport (BEJ) in Tanjung Redeb, where we meet you, then travel roughly 2 to 2.5 hours by road to the Tanjung Batu jetty, then continue by speedboat.
