Five days at Sangalaki, Maratua, and Kakaban.
Our flagship Derawan route. Twelve guests max. Up to 18 dives across three islands — manta cleaning, walls, jellyfish lake snorkel, turtle nesting beach. Inclusive. (See Derawan Islands for context.)

The minimum that justifies the journey to Berau.
Getting to Derawan from Bali takes one full day of transit (Bali → Balikpapan → Berau → speedboat to Maratua). Three-day packages spend most of that day-1 traveling. By the time you’re settled, the trip is half over.
Five days gives you four full diving days — three at the headline sites (Manta Point, Big Fish Country, Kakaban Lake) plus one for repeats and night dives at Maratua. Returning home with the experience compounded, not rushed.
